Serial Entrepreneur, Nicolas Appert, has spent the last 15 years building up and managing software technologies companies. Combining a strong International expertise together with a taste for complex technical environment, he helps organization to balance their strategy in terms, both, of organic and external growth.
In 1996, he's one of the founders of SIT Europe. The company grows significantly before it was sold to Ubizen (Euronext UBIZ), a Belgium group in 1999. After the merged, he participates in bringing Ubizen to #1 European Group, in the Managed Security Services space.
In 2002, he joins Qualys Inc., a US based company, which offered him to restructure its EMEA operations. As GM Europe and Middle East of Qualys, he reaches a 40% growth in 2003.
In 2004, Nicolas jumps into a completely new challenge, co-founding and taking the CEO responsibilities of the BPL Group and its subsidiary Inexbee. This French based software vendor focused on creating convergence technology platforms for Carriers. During the next 5 years, Inexbee sold its products and SaaS solutions to over 20 Operators throughout the world. The company was sold in 2010.
Nicolas has a business degree from the European Business School, and is graduated in business law after he studied at the University of "la Sorbonne".
